Architecture: Treehouse Restaurant is Stunning New Zealand Real Estate

A treehouse for grown ups!

As part of a marketing campaign for the Yellow Pages in New Zealand, the Yellow Tree House Restaurant is over 40 metres high and is 1.7 metres diameter at the base. Built on a redwood tree with plantation poplar slats, the use of natural light surely makes for quite a stunning dining experience.

Built by Pacific Environment Architects, the Yellow Tree House is just outside of Auckland on New Zealand’s North Island.

Treehouses have certainly come a long way since I was a kid. This is fabulous. Is it open when it rains?
