On those increasingly rare occasions that your bottle of wine is sealed with a cork (yes, it does depend on the vintage, the variety, the region etc, but that’s not the point of this article), you probably simply discard it.

Not content with just hanging a photograph or painting on his wall, he set out to create an entire feature using the corks he’d collected: 9217 corks to be exact.
Over a period of 50 hours he produced “Grace”, which measures 96 feet x 66 feet.
