The City of London has approved the 38-storey “Walkie Talkie” skyscraper – so named for its curved rectangular frame and rounded crown – despite the controversy surrounding the impact it will have on views of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Designed by Rafael Viñoly, the skyscraper boast the “highest accessible park in London.”
Whilst it will indeed be an interesting addition to the London skyline, don’t expect construction to commence any time soon.
