dRMM Architecture has recently developed a new property called the ‘Sliding House’. It may not look like anything but a flashy red barn at first glimpse, but low and behold, it’s much more.
The Red exterior shell is actually a second skin that slides across a longitudinal axis to reveal a second façade. This façade is made from a combination of glass and timber, which allows the resident to control the light, outdoor space, and very importantly the heating and cooling loads of the house.
