In our ongoing search for beautiful and amazing homes throughout the world, we stumbled upon this great piece of architecture in Sentosa, Singapore, curiously titled “The Fish House”.
Made of wood, steel and glass, the Fish House is an environmentally friendly waterfront home with an eye for the dramatic and bold. It is modest yet luxurious, hot but oh so cool.
Designed by locally-based Guz Architects, the home embraces the hot and humid climate of Singapore by embracing the natural ventilation of the waterfront location. The curved windows and roof embodies the waves, whilst the magnificent swimming pool cleverly links the man-made house to the natural impressiveness of the ocean. And not wasting an inch of Singapore’s limited space, there are rooftop garden’s galore.
This home is truly remarkable.
