Designer Facundo Poj is making aviation waves with the “727 Jet Lounge” comprised of two Boeing 727 emergency exit doors.

The shape of the door remains unchanged, simply the aluminum is polished to reveal every minute details of the construction. Steel legs are attached to the existing safety brackets on the doors and the doors are positioned so that the curve is smooth and natural.
Given that the original nature of the doors is so important in the design, we’re a little unclear as to the relevance of the cowhide upholstery.
Nevertheless, should you wish to purchase one of these rare lounges, it will set you back $4,500 USD.

DID YOU KNOW? By the time an aircraft is decommissioned, an average of 11,000 passengers have been seated by each one of the windows.
