Sales results are slowly starting to trickle in for the year and it seems that the lower end of the market is leading the way. Very few Luxury Homes have sold in the last 7-14 days, although first home-buyers are continuing to take advantage of the $14,000 government grant and the stamp duty concessions.

I have selected some suburbs in the Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore – Sydney’s blue ribbon areas – to show the latest sales. The absence of high-end sales is very noticeable.
