A tasty dip with a beautiful more-ish taste – great to serve with drinks
2½ Tblsp Sugar
2 Tblsp White Vinegar
1 Tspn Mustard
4 Slices Ham
4 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 pinch Salt
6 Tblsp Milk
1 Tspn Butter
1 Small onion, finely diced
1 Small pickled Gherkin, finely diced
Beat egg, add sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, milk and butter in a saucepan. Boil for a few minutes until thick. Take off stove and cool.
When cool, add cream cheese. Beat quickly with a whisk.
Add onion, gherkin and ham. Place in a serving bowl.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
