On Friday, 13th November, Marquette Turner Luxury Homes are competing in the Foxtel Lap Corporate Challenge at Martin Place, Sydney to raise money for the Murdoch Children’s Research Foundation.
Our 10 team members, together with 10 members of the team from Total Body Conditioning, will be competing against teams from other organisations to complete as many 100m laps as we can in the 10 hour challenge. Each team member is running (or perhaps walking!!) on a treadmill for 30 minutes. We start at 8am and the last team member will “take the treadmill” at 5.30pm.
Funds raised from the event go to the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute for life saving research to help kids with conditions like diabetes, obesity, allergies, cancer and premature birth. Although the name of the cause suggests perhaps money is not an issue, that certainly is not the case. To prevent our children from suffering any of these horrible diseases is definitely a good thing, and to do this, money is needed for extensive research. Whatever you can give, will be greatly appreciated. We hope you can help us and sponsor either one of our team members, or our whole team.
All donations are tax deductible and an official receipt will be issued. To be a sponsor you can contact me direct and pledge your support, or log onto the official Foxtel Lap website and register your sponsorship –
We are all looking forward to participating and although some of us may struggle by the 20th minute, we believe it is a cause worth doing it for. If you would like to drop into Martin Place on Friday 13th and cheer us on, we would love to see you there.
