Print This PostWith the host city for the 2016 Olympics having just been awarded to Rio in Brazil, it seems timely to reflect on some of the announcements of Olympic Host Cities.
As an English born Australian, I’ve been fortunate to have my home twice announced as the hosts of the Summer Olympics, and it’s quite an amazing emotion. Even looking back on the announcements now is very stirring.
We invite you to enjoy the videos which start from the announcement of the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, and include Athens, Beijing, London and Rio.
