We’ve written a number of times of the advent of augmented reality, whereby information/data is super-imposed over an image, such as the sales history displayed over the top of the property that you point your phone at, as with HomeScan.
Well, how about going one step further whereby the data is displayed on the reflection of yourself?
Hong Kong’s James Law has created the Cybertecture mirror which is WiFi-enabled and features an inforgraphic display, stereo speakers, and is fog-resistant.
The Cybertecture mirror delivers current information such as weather forecasts, news and flight information. It even features more personal details such as your weight, meaning that you stay informed even more frequently and for those a bit more narcissistic, spend a little more time in front of the mirror!
More than just a pipedream, the mirror is scheduled to be available in early 2011 for approximately $8,000 USD. You can order one by clicking here.
