Doesn’t it make sense that if you have a luxury car then you wouldn’t want to park it in a dilapidated garage.
That’s what Italian car-maker Maserati believed, and thus launched it’s Design Driven competition.
The winner of the existing garage design was Holger Schubert whom created a 1200 square foot “living room” for the car. With views over western Los Angeles, access to the Maserati’s home is over a mini-bridge. Inside the minimalist white walls and huge windows allow for a open and naturally-lit space.
In addition the room has a library, living area and mini-kitchen, all powered by the solar panels on the roof.
You can view all the entries – as well as the conceptual garage winner – by visiting the Design Driven website.
