Real estate sales experience will always be beneficial, however prior work experience and skill sets in related areas such as customer service, hospitality, retail and general sales is also advantageous, in addition, real estate experience gained from buying, selling or even developing property is also an excellent introduction.
You will also need outstanding interpersonal, communicational, time management and organisational skills; the ability to negotiate win-win outcomes; passion; resilience; strong personal presentation; to be physically fit and to possess an on-going commitment to self-improvement.
