Actor Daniel Craig, better known as the current James Bond 007, has recently purchased a penthouse apartment in New York’s trendy TriBeCa area.
For a somewhat sensible $1.9 million USD, the actor gets 1,124 square feet of living space spread over two levels, which includes one bedroom and two bathrooms. That represents $1,700 per square foot and with monthly carrying costs of $2,265 – clearly the British Special Agent (well, almost) is doing rather well for himself, particularly given his recent £4,000,000 purchase in London’s Regent’s Park.
The apartment comes with a vaulted ceiling of glass that soars 20 feet high showcasing great city views, plus the main living space, an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with red-tinged chestnut coloured hardwood floors, stretches 34 feet from the terrace at the front to an even larger terrace at the back. A staircase created from floating hunks of hardwood boards and a glass and steel banister climbs to the penthouse’s only bedroom.
