Interior Design: Luminous Modern Furniture by Philippe Boulet

Published on September 2, 2009   | Print This Post Print This Post

Luxury real estate requires furniture to accompany it, and French designer, Philippe Boulet has created this unique Illuminated furniture collection which Marquette Turner Luxury Homes believes would be perfect for a room or two.

Using LED’s (light emitting diodes) the Poesy bed displays how creatively Boulet has managed to incorporate the technology into pieces of furniture.

The Poesy bed with LED lights comes with a remote control and allows you to change the colours of the lights or program the lighting to remain fixed (perhaps at different times).

A calming shade of blue, or a romantic shade of pink – so many options for so many moods.

  • I think when you sleep in this kind of bed even the lights are off you still feel that the lights are on.

If you have money, you won't have any problems finding quality furniture that will fit right in with your excentric estate. There are so many luxury furniture designers that I don't see any rich person worrying about that.

  • whoa.. such a brilliant piece of furniture, the design was so mesmerizing it makes me want to buy it quickly. But I'm sure that it comes with a great price, because it was one of the most elegant beds I've ever seen.

Beautiful idea, and you can change the color of the bed by the way you feel like, and it would go perfectly with one of the Mobile homes I just bought. I'm seriously thinking of ordering this.
  • It's interesting design. So romantic
  • The blue light effect is really soothing to the eye. Great concept. Very relaxing, romantic and modern.
  • I agree Sarah - it's the blue lighting that impressed upon me.
  • Blue lighting at bedtime would definitely help me sleep more.
