GOOD CAUSE: Cancer Patients Fly Free in the USA

Christine Watson of Marquette Turner Luxury Homes writes:
Need a Lift? Cancer patients can fly to recognized treatment centers around the country – absolutely free – in the empty seats on corporate jets. No costly airfare. No stressful delays. No unnecessary exposure to airport crowds.

Corporate Angel Network, a USA national public charity, works directly with patients and families to coordinate their travel needs with the flight plans of their Corporate Angels, some of the nation’s largest corporations. Since 1981, they have arranged more than 30,000 flights with cancer patient s aboard.
I am sure there are many corporate jets throughout many countries that can also offer this wonderful service.

This is a wonderful organization. I've been volunteering there for a few years now.
One of the great things that people don't realize is that eligibility to participate in our programis not based on financial need. Eligibility is open to all cancer patients, bone marrow donors, and bone marrow recipients who are ambulatory and not in need of medical support while traveling. Patients may travel as often as necessary.
Thanks for helping us spread the word so we can help more patients!
Hi Nancy,
Thank you for commenting on our Blog. Anything we can do to spread the word about such an amazing organisation, we are happy to do so. It is wonderful to hear from people such as yourself who volunteer. The world is a much better place because of people like you.
The information about eligibility is appreciated.
We have the CAN charity in Australia, but I don't believe it has quite the same support from Australian companies as your's in USA does. Hopefully we can work towards helping out in some way.
Thank you again for contacting us and keep up the fantastic work you are doing.
