There were some fascinating results which give an excellent insight into what things both buyers and renters are looking for. The main reason for moving was tenants purchasing their own home, followed by people wanting a bigger or better home. These two factors contributed to almost one third of all moves and were followed by lifestyle reasons, family reasons and employment reasons. These three factors were attributed to 36% of all moves.

This represents an increase of 5.4% over the last 12 months and unemployment is remaining well below Treasury estimates at 5.8% – or 669,000 people.
