Architecture: Video of Fallingwater Luxury Home by Frank Lloyd Wright

by Marquette Turner Luxury Homes

in Architecture, Design & Trends, Features

Twentieth Century architectural genius, Frank Lloyd Wright designed Fallingwater in Ohiopyle (Bear Run) in Pennsylvania in the late 1930’s.

Constructed out of concrete and stone, the building is considered a expressionist masterpiece, cantilevering dramatically over rock and a rushing stream. The varying platforms appear to hover within a natural setting, and this computer animation video cleverly displays how the building was constructed.

Now a museum, you can check out the Fallingwater website HERE before you visit the actual site.

What a stunning home. I really love the use of the stone – that's my favourite part. He was so ahead of his time.

I think living around a natural environment is very good for the mind, body & soul! The video animation really demonstrates what a clever construction Fallingwater is.
