Nurai Island is in the United Arab Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Nurai is a 3.3 million square feet island located 10 minutes away from the coast of Abu Dhabi by boat from the planned marinas on Saadiyat Island, 25 minutes by boat from Abu Dhabi and 5 minutes by helicopter from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL – NURAI ISLAND

31 beachfront estates and 50 water villas are currently being built on Nurai, a natural island located northeast of Abu Dhabi and one kilometer from the shores of Saadiyat that will host the city’s cultural district (Louvres and Guggenheim Museum among other world class attractions). Part of the development is also a boutique luxury hotel with 60 suites.

Each beachfront house is 12,275 square feet and sits on land plots between 35,000 to 65,000 sq ft – making them the largest beachfront villas in the UAE. The water villas offer amazing panoramic sea views from every room of the house.

Construction begun in August 2008, the villas will be finished end of 2009 and the whole resort will be open by December 2010.

The Nurai island will host restaurants, lounges, a cigar bar, a private helipad, a large marina on the that can accommodate super yachts and a Spa and fitness center.

Nurai residents will have full access to all of the services provided by the boutique resort. One of the three planned restaurants on Nurai will be Siddharta restaurant by George V (creator of Buddha Bar).

The marina can accommodate 60 yachts and 3 super yachts up to 95 meters.
