Whilst Dubai received the majority of the attention earlier in the decade, Abu Dhabi has powered in front. The Strata Tower, by architects Asymptote – the guru’s behind the Yas Marina project, have designed this amazing 40 storey tower. It is 160 metres in height, and is expected to be completed in 2011.

From a purely real estate point of view, a couple of stories have come to light. The first being that Rachel Uchitel, one of the “originals”, has put her Las Vegas “groundfloor penthouse” (go figure) on the market for $1.35 million USD. The second being that Mrs Woods, Elin Nordegren, has purchased a 6 bedroom home for $2 million USD in her native country of Sweden.
